Ben began his journey in health and fitness at just 12 years old, when he joined an amateur boxing league. As he grew older, Ben's passion grew into weight training and maintaining an overall active lifestyle. Throughout high school, friends and family could always count on his presence at the local gym, before and after school.
For some time after graduation, Ben worked in the sales field, but quickly realized that the corporate life was not for him. He enrolled in the Branford Hall Career Institute's Professional Fitness Trainer program, a 16-month intense education revolving around the science of fitness and nutrition, filling in the gaps of what he had already learned through experience. Not long after completing his coursework and becoming a certified P.F.T., Ben was able to progress quickly in his field, becoming a master trainer and performance manager of a local facility.
Ben, like other advanced trainers, is still continuing the progression of his career and thrives on the satisfaction of helping others achieve their own life and fitness goals. He never uses the word "veteran" or "expert" to describe himself, as he always improves and grows with the ever-changing exercise industry. Ben simply lives every day with a purpose: to find new avenues in fitness and wellness to achieve his own pursuit of happiness. While his role at Sculpt includes teaching 8-week boxing courses, Ben still holds true to his beginnings by volunteering at a local boxing gym in his free time, where he is a Certified Boxing Coach.
