Dolores joined Sculpt Fitness in April 2015 after long avoiding the traditional gym setting. Dolores would exercise on her own at home, with lighter weights or fitness videos but she wanted to see more results and knew she wasn’t going to get them doing crunches to Kathie Lee & Hoda. She was uncomfortable going to a local gym, with lots of members, or having people see what weights she was doing (or not!). Dolores was drawn to Sculpt because of its private setting.
She has been working with Dave on building strength and lowering body fat. Though she always ate healthy, Dolores now realizes the importance of balancing meals, and eating more frequently. Now she always packs her lunch box with a protein shake, Greek yogurt, and supreme bars whenever she’s going out just in case she gets caught out longer than she planned.
Dolores has also taken part in the Sculpt monthly challenges through our private Facebook group and posts from wherever she is – like recently from Florida, Vermont, & California. Even though she has a very busy schedule and travels often with her husband, she still finds time for exercise. She is a perfect example of a member who embraces nutrition and fitness as a lifestyle and makes it a priority in her life.
Dolores says, “I have more energy and am able to lift items easier than I used to which comes in handy at Costco!” She gets a kick out of Dave, Ben, and the entire Sculpt bunch and loves driving to Sculpt every week. “I feel better when I am working out and eating right – I don’t even crave junk food because I know it makes me feel bad afterwards. Sculpt has helped me get on the right track in leading a healthier life.”
